Why this festival and what idea of the world do we have in mind?
Realized in collaboration with the Triplo association, a non-profit organization based in Orvieto to promote the territory through orienteering and outdoor activities, the festival aims to launch Sound., a project created to improve the way festivals interact with music travellers, the local territory, and the environment, generating new social and economic opportunities linked to tourism and sustainable development.
Sound. aims to create deeper experiences and connections between music fans, travellers, and local communities, and to implement projects to mitigate environmental impacts and promote social and economic development.
In keeping with the principles of the Sound. project, the Triplosound Festival is designed and realized to emphasize three main dimensions of interest: music (sound tracks), sustainability (tracks of the future), and territory (tracks on the territory). The festival offers sound talks, workshops, visions of the future, and excellence that can inspire everyone to follow the tracks we have designed for them.
Although this edition of the Triplosound Festival is the first one, we already have important collaborations with international festivals such as the Playtime Festival in Mongolia. This is possible because we are united by the same goal: to consider music as an inspiration to promote examples and practices of sustainable development—things that really work.
Our dream is to focus on the experience of the artists and the professionalism of all those involved, offering spectators the opportunity to walk the tracks that connect performance and the senses, art and change, tradition, technology, and the future.
A personal journey, which we hope will give each of you the opportunity to find (or rediscover) something you were looking for.
